I suppose I should update this thing, huh? Okay, done.
The school year is winding down and its been more stressful than previous years. Lots of changes going on with staff  and not all good, unfortunately. I still have a job next year so . It's over Tuesday and I'll have a nice two week break before summer classes begin. At least it's only one class four days a week for three weeks and then I have the rest of the summer free.

Oh, the name has changed! No big changes, I just got tired of typing those dang hypens. I love that it's now possible to change your name rather than your whole account.

Loads of upcoming summer projects. Time will tell how much I actually get done. :rollseye:

Well, I've resisted doing much in the digital art realm for a loooong time now. Mostly because its so popular and trendy and it doesn't need me (or I don't need it, one of the two) and I prefer the hands-on messiness of traditional artwork(ings).

However, when I have a lot of trouble focusing on projects at hand  for whatever reason, I find myself wanting to do some sketching and quick coloring without dragging out all the traditional mediums. But I hate drawing/coloring with a mouse and end up doing nothing. Sooooo, I've caved in and bought a tablet which I'll pair up with Open Canvas. I stayed on the cheap end with a Genius MousePen i608. If I really like working like this and I find myself really using the tablet I may upgrade when finances permit. If not, no big loss.

Out of curiosity, what do you use for digitial art? Anything? Tablet reviews?

I'm looking forward to trying something new- it ought to be a trip.
