Olympic Sparrow

While in Bejing impersonating an Olympic coach, Jack Sparrow finds himself in the middle of the men's 200 meter dash and experiencing a terrifying bout of deja vu. Ironically, he ends up placing first in the event, though judges are uncertain which country he represents. Fellow competitors grumble angrily about the results, wondering how someone with such "ridiculous form" could win against the world's top athletes, in basketball shoes no less.

Inquiring minds are left wondering as the Captain is a no-show for the medals ceremony. Unfamiliar with modern Olympic procedures, Jack didn't know that what was to be hung around his neck was gold and not a noose.

On an unrelated note, several gold medals went missing at some point during the day's events. Olympic officals are still investigating.

Background created in PhotoImpact 10. If time permits I may redo the background in watercolor, simply because I do not have the patience or desire to combine these two mediums properly.

Countries represented were purposely left ambiguous, though there is one angry US coach somewhere who wants his clothes back.
